За претставата:

Летото 2017 година, театарскиот и филмски режисер Франц фон Стролхен патува низ поранешната “Балканска рута” за бегалците, од Грција преку Македонија, Србија и Унгарија, сè до Виена – во време на таканареченaта „река од бегалци“, каде што ја набљудува и гледа оваа рута од сосема друга перспектива.
Фон Стролхен, заедно со филмска екипа, развива сценарио за фиктивен филм, чие дејство се одвива на пат, каде што три млади жени патуваат во напуштена и комплетено запустена Европа. Сценариото на Фон Стролхен е стартна точка за театарски перформанс каде што документарното и фикцијата стануваат неодделиви. Резултатот е хипнотизирачки и длабок перформанс меѓу филм и театар, приказна помеѓу интернационална филмска екипа и три главни актерки од Македонија, Унгарија и Германија – некаде помеѓу Европа и Холивуд. Ова поетско и филозофско патување низ Европа и нејзините жители ни кажува како границите се формираат и исчезнуваат, како се креираат идентитетите и се претопуваат едни во други.

About the performance:

In the summer of 2017 the director and film-maker Franz von Strolchen travelled the former Balkan-Refugee-Route from Greece over Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary all the way to Vienna – in a time after the so-called „stream of refugees“ he was able to see this route from a very different perspective. Together with a film-crew he now develops a movie-script for a fictional road-movie, in which three young women travel through an abandoned and completely deserted Europe. Von Strolchen’s script is the starting point for a theatrical performance in which documentary and fiction become indistinguishable. The result is a mesmerizing and immersive performance between film and theatre, a story between an international film-crew and the three main actresses from Macedonia, Hungary and Germany – somewhere between Europe and Hollywood. This poetical and philosophical journey through the European landscape and its inhabitants tells us about how borders are being formed and how they can disappear, how identities are being created and how the melt into each other.

It can hold a conversation about music, films, books, tell jokes, quote Shakespeare and Chekhov. And of course, BIBI will have sex with you at will whenever you want. No matter your sexuality or gender, with BIBI by your side, you’ll never feel unfulfilled anymore.
“The Passion according to BIBII” at the premiere of this year’s Camden Fringe Festival in London was selected in the top 10 performances according to Time Out London and London’s Evening Standard.
